Designing a corporate identity for Hamburg-based NGO Youth against Aids.
Since the organization promotes sex education for and by young people, its corporate identity needed to be designed around illustrative elements that strike a chord with the young. By the same token, the illustrations and aesthetics must communicate in the same way as Youth against AIDS—openly, directly and erring toward the brash rather than the subtle. This is why we chose complementary colors for the corporate identity. Thanks to the abstract yet unambiguous illustrations devoted to all aspects of sex, the NGO’s brand identity has a high recall value.
